  • All seasons bring their own beauty in nature with either a beautiful green or brown bush to explore.

    March to July is cooler weather. August to October is hot and dry. November to February is warm and wet.

  • We have a variety of game on the farm. Our game includes: Giraffe, Zebra, Kudu, Wildebeest, Eland, Bushbuck, Warthog, Hippo, Elephants, Crocodile, Hyena, Impala, birds of prey & if very lucky leopard :))

  • We have an included airport transfer on Mondays and Thursdays in our project fee. One of our trusted drivers will pick you up from the Bulawayo airport (BUQ) and drive you safely down to the farm. This drive is around 3 hours.

  • Yes, definitely! Most of our volunteers are traveling solo & create long lasting friendships through Murenje.

  • Daily Riding Rides including swimming with horses, guided rides for all levels; guides will educate you on wildlife and basic conservation.

    Bonfires Evenings by a crackling fire under African skies. Share stories, enjoy warm drinks, and relax.

    Bush Walks with our scouts to see and learn about plants, small animals, birds, and tracks.

    Hiking of varying length and difficulty with panoramic landscape views and cave visits with paintings.

    Canoeing, boating and swimming in our dam enjoying the sun & cooling off

  • Yes! Our volunteering program can be used for University internships. Please mention this when booking your stay.
